You need big bags and leverage to make an air ride system ride good. Too small of a bag at a high pressure to get clearance will ride like a rock. You'll want a 4 link in the rear with a ""bag on bar" set up for the best ride with like a 2700 or 2800 bag. You can get by with a behind axle mount and some sleeve bags. Up front will require some major hacking and cutting to fit a large bag in there, plus shock relocators.

Whoa, sounds like a lot more than I wanted to get into. Just ball parking it, how much are you talking about here?

Also, how about those "soft" shocks. Are they really that much softer? Are they going to make a noticeable difference in ride quality? I don't really want to lower the truck, so I guess I'm stuck with stock springs if I go that route.

Why does a chassis with just wheels and engine look so cool.

I'm doing the bags over coil setup. I got a quote for all the things I wanted for $5500, probably going to bite on it.

I'm about to replace the broken body parts ( bumper lip, fender wells, etc ) and then do the same thing I just had Nick do to my Camaro in regards to the paint clean up and wax. I agree, I'll be happy for at least a year then i'll want to rebuild the bottom end of the engine.
