You don't get camber on a strait axle or fabricated suspension.
Not real clear on this part. As to why you're pointing that out. Only part I was really going to mess with was the bags and whatever had to be done for them to be made to work properly. I wasn't really going to change much else. Unless you're saying that I'll have to?
a 2600 bag is the biggest that will fit in the a-arm of the 87. the size of the bag doesn't have as much to do with the ride quality, it's the air pressure you run.. mine lays out and 30 psi puts it about 4" off the ground (ride height).
Not real familiar with all the lingo, is that the new term for the frame being able to touch the ground? Also if the ride quality is all in the air pressure, then I want to be able to run pretty low pressure and still be at stock height. If I can't ever lower, then so be it. Just want the sweet old buick/caddy ride, instead of the truck ride.
I'm not sure why you'd want to do that when a simple lowering spring will ride just fine and get you in the range you want for a fraction of the cost and work.
Maybe Rodney can say, but I've heard bags make the vehicle ride quality go way up, as opposed to any spring. Never had 'em, just what I've heard. Thanks for the replies, hope the OP can use 'em some.

You need big bags and leverage to make an air ride system ride good. Too small of a bag at a high pressure to get clearance will ride like a rock. You'll want a 4 link in the rear with a ""bag on bar" set up for the best ride with like a 2700 or 2800 bag. You can get by with a behind axle mount and some sleeve bags. Up front will require some major hacking and cutting to fit a large bag in there, plus shock relocators.
First time doing bags so cant offer advice, just hope I'm not disappointed I didnt go with coilovers....all porterbuilt suspension parts with ridetech controller/tank/compressors/shocks.
