  • 2013 f150 front end torque specs - help needed

About to put a leveling kit on my truck and am having a hard time finding the torque specs I need, browsing from my phone is killing me. Can someone with access to all data or similar hook me up?

    13 f150 4x4

I need the tq value for:
    sway bar end links
    steering knuckle
    upper ball joint
    top 3 nuts on strut
    Lower strut mount

    Thanks

        Torque Specifications:
        Shock Absorber Rod Nut …………………………….. 22 ft-lbs
        Shock Absorber-to-Lower Arm Nut and Bolt……….. 351 ft-lbs
        Stabilizer Bar-to-Link Nut ……………………………. 98 ft-lbs
        Tie-Rod End Nut ………………………………………111 ft-lbs
        Upper Ball Joint Nut…………………………………… 85 ft-lbs

that is 08-12, not sure why 13 would be different.

thanks rodney, i found them. finally booted up the laptop and came inside to search. 13 should be the same but i know the 14's are apparently pretty different.

i didn't know about the EPAS stuff, so i got part way through the first side before i read about it.. kinda freaked myself out so i put it back together without putting the level kit on to make sure i didn't pop the EPAS ECM. I just got back from taking it for a spin and no warnings thankfully. going to grab a big breaker bar and try again here in a bit.

kinda sucks about the 14s, i bought one of those kits thinking it would work, and called them and they suggested i not use it. post some pics when you get done though, and are you going bigger in tire size right now, or no?

i guess this is the perfect place to say i have a 2.5" leveling kit for a '13 or older f150 if anyone is interested.

I'm not going larger on the tires just yet but they're almost cooked so i'll have new ones before this winter.

i have a 1" 15/16 rake when measuring top of wheel well between front and back, so this 2" kit should be perfect.

i got mine with the rapotor 1.5" rear blocks to hopefully keep the rake but clear 34-35" tires

I just plan on some 32 or 33 inch all terrains but want to keep this truck stock for a change. waiting for a buddy to come over with a big breaker bar (that lower strut bolt is a bitch) but then i'm going to take a stab at it again. i just snagged you a before pic so hopefully by tonight i'll have an after as well.

I find it interesting that neither HBS nor motofab's instructions include any information about disconnecting the EPAS before working on the front end but rough country does. had you heard about this before?

That was a motherfucker until I got a hold of some spring compressors. I have no clue how people are doing it without using those, or dropping the whole LCA.
