  • Best way to find a leak?

So after 5 days this is the amount leaked. Should be easy to find i would think.

Not the oil transmission or coolant. put uv dye in all of them weeks apart. Checked all fluids they are all topped off except for windshield washer.

Any ideas the best way to find the leak? Any tricks? it has to be power steering or brake.

I assume you have a general area you know the leak is in, I'd would start at the bottom and work my way up on the components following the oil trail.

That's the thing i really dont. Its an import and even after taking off the cover I can't see much with all the dirt and grim on it. I'd pressure wash it from the bottom but it already has a few electrical issue and I dont want to make it 10x worse.

Clean it. Hard to find shit if its got gunk all over it unless its painfully obvious.

Break out the brake parts cleaner and some paper towels.

More likely power steering than brake fluid. Check the hoses coming from the P.S. reservoir, the connections at the fluid cooler loop, etc. I've seen the return and feed side on imports have slow seeps/leaks.
