    Whet can I find the all thread for the ls1 crank? Im trying to make my own tool. Or does someone have the tool I can borrow?

    You can just use a longer bolt to pull the balancer up, or place a 2x4 flat across the balancer and carefully hammer it far enough on where your crank bolt will thread in and pull it up.

      That's how I do it too. GM made both the Gen II and Gen III motors a pain to install the HB.

        I'll try the 2x4 method. I had heard of it but was hesitant.
        I'm just ready to get this car going.

            The bolt is m16 x 2.0

            I found one at Turner hardware a while back that works.
