I put on a new fuel pump, ran fine for a week. Couple days ago it died on the road, I put in a new fuel pump relay under the seat then worked fine. Now, when I'm in third gear and floor it, it will accelerate then studder about 4k rpm, tachometer drops all the way down to 0, engine still running, then it will run fine the next second. What could this be??? Ac WOT switch? I have no idea.

I just took it out and tried to replicate the issue and it wouldn't. I guess its random. Bout ready to sell it.sigpic -
There is a connector behind the driver's kick panel that I've seen issues with.
Green with an orange or yellow trace (I think). Anyway, the bayonet connector gets hot from the fuel pump yada yada yada..Comment

I think it was the ignition coil. I put the factory one back on and it runs better. Pulls good now. Lets hope that's it.sigpicComment

Fox Body Electrical trouble
Sounds like the demon I chased until I replaced an MSD coil with a Crane Flamethrower. The coupe was like a different car.Comment
