My friends 95 chevy v6 is having Aod issues, upon leaving work yesterday it was slipping just off the line, noticed it was low on fluid, added some. Along the hour drive home, I noticed it was dropping down to first and wouldn't downshift when more throttle was applied. This morning I found out it's not going into over drive either. Couple hundred thousand on the odometer (can't remember exact off the top of my head) proper fluid in it, no contaminates in the fluid. I'm thinking the bands in the clutches maybe went out. Any ideas?
