The 3.73s or the 3.08s? The 3.08s are factory replacements from the parts house. The 3.73s I don't know about. is the replacements are ford gears, transfer the pinion shim on you're existing gears to the new one. bolt them in and use a new crush sleeve and nut. should be perfect when you get the pinion nut just the right tightness to make the pinion slightly hard to turn, about 20"lbs to turn the pinion . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8APYO2sZyJUDon't worry about what you can't change.
