  • 6r80 labor

Can anyone recommend someone to put upgraded steels and frictions as well as an intermediate shaft in a 6R80? Does Mike McGee deal with them? It doesn't look REAL difficult, but I'd rather know it's being done right. Exedy makes the Stage 2 clutches and shaft I'm considering. Thanks in advance.

Call Mike and talk to him. I don't know if there is anything he can't do.

Just checked my receipt. $1150 for the billet convertor. $4200 for a full rebuild, billet shaft, stage 2 clutches, valve body plug kit, plus my front pump was bad it was $150. They told me three week turn around took about a week and half

I just bought the converter from Circle D and I can get the clutches and shaft for $1100. I think all i need is the labor to install them and it should be pretty bullet proof. It isn't damaged now, but I'm about to throw some serious power at it and will need to have it done as preventative...

As soon as MMR gets my heads back I'll be putting mine to work in a 5,800# truck with around 650hp to the tires.
