    ok im learning, i need a 2 stage. whats the diff between 1 and 2 stage?

      Two stage will compress the same air twice. Basically it will cram more air in the tank. Most two stage compressor setups for a typical garage will shut off when the tanks psi hit about 175.

        Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. Doesn't a two stage create more moisture due to the second stage of compression?

          that would make sense, but given my application its irrelevant, i saw the way thisshop was plumbed/layed out and this compressor is more than i will ever need.

                Theres a place in Irving that carries compressor heads and compressors too. It's on Nursery just north of Irving blvd. on the right. Not sure if hes still there I haven't been there in awhile. They rebuild them too, so then there's that.
