My clutch adjustment sucks...

Just put a new spec 2 and new flywheel in... I have the maximum Motorsports Clutch Cable, as well as their firewall adjuster. I also have an off-brand aluminum quadrant.

Firewall adjuster is screwed all the way in... Had to put a lot of prying force to get the clutch cable into the clutch fork. When driving, the car doesn't move until I'm at the very last bit of the clutch pedal. Slips if I try to accelerate any.

How do I fix this?

I have the same set up. I also had an off brand quadrant that was supposed to be a quick release type. I went through a King Cobra clutch and three cables. The pedal was extra hard. When I changed the clutch, I put in a correct quadrant. I think it was Maximum MotorSports. Now soft pedal, no cable problems, and the clutch holds like glue. The pedal feel is almost like a stock clutch.
