Koni Anything is junk honestly. even their expensive DA's came apart on me when installed as a coil over kit. Sure they are rebuildable, but that screw in cap is also why they fail.

just order the bilsteins. If you have a higher than stock rate or are lowered, I suggest calling MM with your details and they will direct you to which of their "race valved" bilsteins would be appropriate.

Tokico's are fine for factory rate springs. Anything beyond that and they are under valved and will bounce a lot or fail.

LOL, details on the screw in cap? One of my DA struts started "un screwing" I called Koni and they acted like I was out of my mind, "I have never heard of that happening" WTF with support from these suspension companies, they have all been terrible.

I ended up buying an adjustable spanner wrench and tightening it back up, then marking the cap and the body to make sure they are not moving, what a PITA.

Cutting them will increase the rate FYI
They are blue and don't appear to be cut.

mine backed out and leaked. Found it 3 days before nationals in 2009 and had to overnight one. Still have it, just needs to be rebuilt. would make a good spare for an AI/CMC racer.

I would tack weld at one spot to hold it from spinning. Could always be ground off to remove later.

All the suspension companies are crap when it comes to Customer service. I have had Motons and Penskes....same crap. Hell, I am still waiting on Penske parts I ordered in August. ugh.
