  • Which front struts do you guys prefer? 03 Cobra

I am replacing my front struts and looking for advice. Billsteins are factory, but are way overpriced. Cheapest I found $215 each. I want a good sporty feel ride without the big price. I found some Koni for $125 each. Any suggestions?

Match the damper to the spring rate... the job of the strut is to control the springs, so to suggest a strut we'd have to know what springs you are using?

If stock you're fine to stick with the stock Bilstein struts or even go with the HD units which are better than stock and likely the ones you saw for $215. If you're using aftermarket springs, here's a link to a chart to show you what dampers to match with the springs.

Not debating, asking an honest question. Why do you say the STR.Ts are junk?

How about Tokico? They are reasonably priced and adjustable.

I'm not a fan of them after running them, I would say Koni Yellow or Bilstein maybe KW if you have the money or something exotic $$$$$$$$$ (Moton, HVT, AST, etc)

For the money, Bilstein is probably the way to go.

I'm not a fan of the Koni Streets either, at least with the Eibach Pro-kit anyway.

I'd go Koni yellow in most cases

what color, any numbers on them, do they look cut?

Cutting them will increase the rate FYI
