need to spread frame rails

looks like the frame rails are too close together on the cmc car, my panhard bar mount doesn't fit between the frame rails, car has been wrecked so it doesn't surprise me, any ideas on spreadin em back apart a little? I was thinking a bottle jack and a 4x4.

I used a chain and a 4wd Blazer to straighten up the strut towers on a Supra once. Put the front wheel in the ditch against the culvert, attached chain to tower and hitch. About three good clanks she was like brand new.

My stepdad has one, and I've had several times at the shop that it might have been quicker to run over and borrow it than to work around it with another method.

Be sure to spread the load out on the frame rails as you said with a 4x4 or you will dimple them. experience talkin'
