Engine Swap

I have a 2008 crown vic police car that I am going to put an used engine in2011 crown vic motor with 12000 miles from a wrecking yard. Another wrecking yard says it will not work, the one I am getting it from says I just need to change the intake. Ford will not confirm if it will or not, Has anybody had any experience with this or actually know if it will work or not.

There are a few things on the Police Interceptor cars that are different. They come with a map/egr combo that none of the others come with, also have a factory oil cooler. The intake is a easy swap from the old motor to the new.

Just buy my old motor out of my 00 GT, I have a supercharger that can go with it for the right price. LMK
