My PATS system was activated and now my car cranks but won't turn over. I know that the PATS disables the fuel system. Does anyone know of anybody or a place where I can get the PATS turned off or disabled?

I already tried getting a locksmith out to my house and tried to program my key but it didn't work. I have been told that the pcm needs to be programmed as well as my keys but I have to take the car to Ford but I would rather just have the PATS turned off if possible. If you tried the wrong key more than a few times, it goes into PATS lockdown mode where you have to take it in to ford and get them to fix it. Pretty sure you can turn the PATS off with a handheld tuner.Last edited by JC316; 11-11-2014, 06:27 PM.Comment

Yeah that's what I hear. This car is driving me nuts! Lol I have Been researching this issue for about a week now just to make sure it's not something simple or without having to tow it but it looks like I am gong to have to do it either way. I already tried getting a tune from bama performance but they said it won't work if it's already activated. This sucks!Comment
