Anyone ever notch their own pistons?

I need mine done, but really dont want to pull them out of the hole to do it. Considering renting the isky tool to get it done. Just need the intake side done, and I will plan on cutting .100 if I'm able...

Thoughts/suggestions?

Well I can't seem to find a 2.02 valve to use for the diy version. . Does anyone locally rent out the isky or lindy tool to fly cut in the block?

well, it's probably THE most common aftermarket intake valve size, so yes. VERY often if somebody drops a valve and rebuilds heads, they'll buy a complete set of better valves as an upgrade. Every machine shop I've ever been in had tons of old valves laying around

Cool. Another question... Should I cut them using my new heads? Or my old stock heads? The new heads are afr 185s which are 20 degree heads. Not sure what angle E7's are... Will it matter?
