  • What is this sensor? CHeck out this engine bay

What is this sensor on the intake? It isn't stock but it's located by the intake and TB.

Also there is some weird "duct" tape looking wire bundle on the left fender and firewall.

What else do you guys notice is "off" on this engine bay? I know that I do not see the passenger fender VIN tag.

    Car has 50k miles.

I've never seen that before. California emissions related possibly?

Kind of a crappy pic but that looks like a rough 55k.

The electric fan, aluminum radiator and conical filter would concern me.

Random wiring, new AC clutch, AC converted to 134A to name a few more.

Yeah sorry the picture came out small on photobucket. Turns out all that shit is nitrous related. Not thrilled about it.

I noticed the clutch... the wiring is nitrous. 134A is almost all fox cars now. I thought maybe the AC clutch but wasn't positive. Thanks for confirming.

After seeing more of the car it's definitely 50k miles. Same owner for the last 20 years. The mirrors, molding, etc are some of the best I have EVER seen. Better than my 30k mile car I just sold.

I asked to see how the car sits...he left it dirty at my request. Car is very clean.

Nitrous will probably be enough to turn me off on the car for the asking price he wants.

                Why be afraid of nitrous?

well it has to do w/ the description of the car. He completely left it out until I noticed it. We spoke for a long time and he answered most of my questions.

Also... he claims to "not know anything about the passenger fender". It is a ford stamped fender but no VIN tag...

                  Just some red flags IMO

The car has been sitting for a while but started monthly according to him...

Started monthly, to go to the drag strip. Ask to see the torque boxes, if they aren't welded, I bet they're hammered.

yeah that's how I feel about it. It's got subframes welded in from a long time ago. He said he took it to the strip. I'm not sure I'll pursue it based on the sketchy history.
