  • Spark plug gap ?

I was out in the garage fixing some odds and ends on my F100 the other day. I figured I would check the plugs in this thing since I hadn't gotten around to it. To no surprise, the gaps on the plugs are all over the place. Plugs look rather new so I'm not changing them until I get a few other things squared away first. What should the gap be set at for this vehicle? It's a '68, 302, 2bbl Motorcraft carb, and electronic ignition consisting of Mallory Unilite dizzy and MSD coil and wires. I believe stock gap with points style dizzy is .032-.036.

I would think .036-.042 would be fine.
