  • 18 " Tires on a 2003 Lightning

Been running the Hankook tires for several years (2 sets). I have been looking at the Toyo Proxes S/T 11's. Anybody ever run the Toyos ? Street driven, and fully stock. Never on the track.

Toyo owns nitto, toyo are supposed to be the better tires.

The Nitto is by far the better tire in this application, not only in price(almost $50 difference) but will have much better traction on a lightning than a Toyo

if you want 50k miles out of a tire then the Hankook is going to be the Winner, If you want Traction, great price and around 25k miles then go for the Nitto

I run the Mickey Thompson Sportsman HR tires. Wear decent, and hook up great.
