Also. What is the estimated value of this ride? Interior is in great condition minus a wear spot on driver side, rust spots on rear quarters. Running driving 65 malibu chevelle.

Any advice on a lowering kit? That's still very much streetable? And will these 20" torque thrusts being too big?

Pimp it and sell it dude. Don't waste time and money. Don't fix it if it ain't broke cause you gunna sell it either way.

                  So, did ya get it?

I also agree with leaving the drivetrain alone.

..and I have a set of rebuilt square port heads, Hooker headers, march pullies, Crane gold roller rockers. Might have more but would have to look.

Well, I pulled the trigger on her and traded for her. It's nice car with some rust in the common spots. No rusty floorboards or trunks. It looks great otherwise. I do however have some things I want to fix pretty soon.
                              1. Some sort of 15-17 inch wheels.
                              2. Sell these 20x8.5 torque thrust wheels...
                              3. And do something about the cam!!!

Right off the bat, it's cam is damn heavy. While it was stopped at a light, it just sits there and lopes. The car urges forward with every lope even with the brake peddle matted. She runs like a champ down the road tho. Drove it from terrell to flower mound (60mph) and it purred like a kitten. It's just the stop and idling that makes a racket.

The 283 is very healthy and doesn't seem to leak or burn oil. It has an edelbrock intake and edelbrock 1405 that I think needs a good rebuild! It takes forever to start up.

The wheels are in excellent shape with ok tires. They are 20inchers black with silver lip. How much would you sell them for?

Talisman mentioned astros. What else would look good on her? If u got some, shoot me a pm.

What's a nice cam to replace this heavier one.
