  • Fox LS swap with A/C

My coupe was primarily built as a track car.As I get older a street car with A/C sounds more appealing now days. Well all the old A/C stuff under dash is gone as well as wire harness cut and fire wall smoothed.I thought about a universal Vintage air kit verses a donor car.Any thoughts or experience with this.

Look into a street rod setup. They have all electric self contained units.

Go back to factory Ford parts for everything but compressor and the lines that connect to it.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I know , I'll be 40 in January. With my brother and my Dad being able to cruise everywhere , I just want too do the same. My current set with the 393 Windsor ,I figure a LS would be a good option.

call or look into Old Air Products.com in fort worth.

For about $1250 you can get a complete universal kit and install it. You will have to use their billet switch panel though.

the "box" under the dash is only like 14in x 14in.

very easy to install. I just did one in a 72 c10

On my 03 chevy truck(k2500 6.0) the compressor is mounted low on the pass side. Not sure what kind of room there is in the fox, but if I recall there is room down there. Might be able to score the brackets n pulleys at the wrecking yard if you're into that type of adventure.
