  • New wheels and tires 2011 mustang gt

Any suggestions on the best tire size to run on a 18-9 wheel on my 2011 gt? I want to put the most tire on the ground and close in size to my stock 235-50-18. I'm thinking of a 285-40-18, any other suggestions or sizes that others are already running.

I think Don is running an 18x9 TSW Nurburgring in the back of his with 305s.

I'd like to put those on my 2011 GT but I don't want it to look like a Shelby posser.

Well I think I got the wheels picked out, but what tire is closest to stock diameter and best fitment on a 18-9 wheel?

Ok I think i got my mind made up it will have 18-9.5 rear 18-8 front. So i figure a 285-40-18 rear what size for the front or what size in a 295 or 305?

A 255/40 would probably look best on the front.
