Fixed. If familiarity with all the sounds and nuances of a car were a prerequisit to owning one, there would be a lot of people on bicycles, Dude!

I'm with the other guys...close the door and try again. I can't hear anything but the ding, which I turned off in my car. Irritating. IF you just started to notice it now that it's really cold and it goes away once it warms up, I wouldn't worry. Make sure you have enough oil in the car and check your exhaust bolts when it warms up if you still hear it. My 2c.
