I have a 3550 and am putting it in my 65 Galaxie and removing the T5. I've got the right bell housing and shifter, the clutch and driveshaft splines are the same. I may have to do a little crossmember modding. But as far as overall length are they the same? And the shifter should be in the same position correct?

With 3.73's and a 3550, I have no problem moving at normal hwy speeds or higher, except for the folks that want to take a look, and either slow down or speed up..."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford
