What engine oil are you running. I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as the car isn't down on power and you're not seeing metal specs in the oil

I'm not sure if this is relevant but my mother bought a 2012 gmc envoy and that thing had the worst valve tapping I've heard in any vehicle. When the engine had about 15k miles it sounded like a seeing machine and 20k was church mouse quiet.

All kinds of wrong! You're supposed to run 5W20 oil, 5W50 is WAY too thick.

5 weight motor oil is 5 weight motor oil no matter what number one sticks on the end.

Take a video and post it up, it may be normal, injectors do tick.

Then why do they make different types with different numbers on the end?

The way it pours at operating temperatures vs how it pours at room temperature...

the -20 is too thin for the high oil temps experienced during racing
