  • Wrecked! Lol

Was going around a corner, very slow idle first gear and the front slid and bumped a concrete barrier. No big!

This is the roads in Pilot Point.

    This is the coupe.

Already have new set of lights to put on, so where is the best place to pick up a bumper? I needed one anyways so I'm not really all that upset, needed to be replaced and repainted.

Any recommendations. Im sure I can fix it myself, or are they a PITA?

I was stuck in the driveway once it was out of it's resting spot it did ok. As far as today goes, I was doing good all morning until the front slid. Oh well.

Atleast I was going a of 5mph when it happened. Literally no damage besides the cracked bumper and lens.

LX bumpers are pricey new from late model. Sheesh.

Oh well. Hopefully someone will chime in with a lx bumper sitting in thier garage!

Soon, I've been wanting to make it out but school has kept me from making it.

I'll cut class sometime and head out there.

When I was looking for a new bumper, I found several used ones for $100 or so. Keep in mind, they're all about the same age as the one you have. None of them were in good enough shape for me. I bought one of those high dollar ones from late model, it's a great part, well worth the money to me. It even fit pretty nice! They're not too hard to put on, just take your time.

Here, see for yourself. Sometimes aftermarket parts do fit correctly.

Some fiberglass might actuall fix that.

The fix should allow you to get rid of the black moulding.

Is this the kid that was seen sliding around in Denton because of cold streets and bald tires?

If so, stay home! If your car is sliding when the streets are dry, it won't do anything on ice!
