I found out the hard way that a bad harmonic balancer/crank pulley can be super bad news when you lurch an oil pump because of bad harmonics.

That's what I was thinking but I don't know the symptoms. It makes a rattling sound when I turn it on, progressively gets worse as I accelerate and I can feel it by my feet. Sounds like it's coming from the trans.

Mine has caused my TOB to squeal and rattle. I need to pull em both, seems OEM Ford parts are the go to pieces though.

if you can feel it by your feet then its probably the exhaust pipe hitting the underside of the body. It rattled when i had the car too...The h-pipe is a BBK unit and it doesn't quite fit right, thats why its making that noise

climb down there and see if the rubber coming out

When mine took a shit it would vibrate above 3k, replaced it with a good one from LRS and all my problems were solved. It took me longer to gather the tools than it did to do the work.
