  • For the turbo guys

What turbos is everyone running, Garrett, Turbonetics, Borg Warner? I have a forged 4v that I'm planing on get over 800hp, and I need some ideas. Should I go twin, or single? Pics of your setup would be nice. Has anyone had any dealings with On3performance piping, or should I go custom.

Borg warner nomiclates theirs with frame and compressor inducer.

Example, s475 is 75mm inducer and s400 frame. SX added to it will be usually a t4 turbine inlet.

PTE uses compressor and turbine sizes in theirs.

Turbonetics uses a similar rating but now all of their shit is named after storms.. Hurricane Benita is a big shaft T78 with whatever turbine you need.

Go with a BW.. You won't be disappointed.

Extended tip compressors are where its at.

And for gods sake don't add too much drive pressure to the turbine.

In other words don't go for a compressor that will efficientlly support 1050 HP and a turbine only good to 500 or so.

Housing and shaft play a bigger role than you think.

Precision at the moment. 6266. Thinking about going to a twin scroll exhaust housing and manifold, or switching to an efr.

On another note if you do end up cooking bearings and thrust parts in a bw the kits are dirt cheap for them.

Yeah, pretty close. .82 a/r, though. Made 700 on a log manifold on a friend's neon with a similar set up.
