Now I am dumb as s*** when it comes to cylinder heads, so I was hoping someone could help me out. Would these go well with my setup? He's asking $1k, and said they were redone by Day Customs.... I couldn't find anything on day customs, but the heads look clean as hell.

My theory is that at that price, I can have a machine shop check them out and replace anything that is needed, and still come out ahead. Thoughts?

Going in my 87 foxbody, stock block 302, e-cam, Systemax ii, vortech v-3sc.

Its an ok deal. I bought a set 5+ years ago from another board member for $900, so its ok. You might have clearance issues with the cam? If I remember right I had a B cam with 1.6 rockers, and it was cutting it close.

That's a big chamber, will drop your compression quite a bit, my heads have 59cc chambers and with stock pistons I'm right around 9.8:1 iirc

Will that be OK for a supercharged car?

Now I'm reading about possible PTV issues.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you'll have ptv issues with that cam and those heads with stock pistons.

Some people want more boost and less compression and some people want less boost and more compression. I would aim for 10:1.

You will without a doubt have to fly cut your pistons to make these work

How big of a deal is it to do this? DIY or have a machine shop do it? Expensive?

Ahh 2.02 valves! ya there's gonna have to be cut, there's sketchy was to do it but you have to be careful to not burn through the pistons.
