G8 GT Owners

One of my brothers is looking to get into a G8 GT. What are things to look out for on these cars? I've heard the top end can have some issues at times, mainly due to the DOD system. Also, people have mentioned premature control arm bushing and strut mount wear. What other things should he be looking out for?
The one he's looking at has almost 100k miles exactly, but it looks like it has been meticulously maintained, and it's a one owner car. He has all of the maintenance records from the stealership and has disclosed all of the previous issues that have now been rectified (biggest one was a transmission drip at ~30k miles).

Definitely switch out the lifters for non DOD, that can cause major issues. Other than that, they are really solid cars.

Well, we went and picked her up! Cleaner than I anticipated, and he got him lower than expected too.
Intake, exhaust, cam/DOD delete, and tune to come...
