also, i am assuming you are blown since you were mentioning blower cams. if that is the case and there is bearing metal in the oil, if you continue to drive it you risk damaging the blower. unless its a procharger, obviously.

Yes it was blown, and I have stopped driving it. I am going to pick up an all forged Teksid .020 on Monday from another board member (crapstang). The heads have also had a 5 angle valve job. I also think I'm going to sell my blower setup and engine( intake, TB, injectors etc), and buy an On3performance 4v turbo. I think this set up with 60lb injectors and an upgraded fuel system should at the least give me 650hp.

i love having an aluminum block. you don't really think of the weight advantage until you realize how easy it is to carry compared to a iron block. i am building an 11:1 4v right now to run on e85 in a my dd marauder. i thought about going lower compression for future forced induction, but its a sedan. i figured if i am going to dump FI kind of money into a car; its not going to be in a sedan.

Prob another person who never owened an on3 kit just talking smack. It's a cheap kit and if you keep it running around what it's designed to do should be fine.

Explain more please? Should I just buy the piping and spend the real money on the actual turbo?

I am yet to install an on3 kit that did not need to be modified to fit properly. Every thing from a fox body to a new 5.0 they have all fit like shit. Not to mention out of the probably 20 kits, and 30 or so turbos I would say at least 70% of the turbos took a shit within the first 20 miles.

I would never dump a bunch of money into a 2v, lol. Buy someone's abandoned Fox/F-body/C5 project for pennies on the dollar. You'll be way ahead at the end.

I definitely wouldn't use either of their turbos. Spend your money on a good turbo (Garrett).

yes, my buddy from the military in NC had bought an on3 kit for his sn95 5.0 and said it was a nightmare. he said he would have been better off just buying a nice turbo and fabricating his own piping.

My on3 kit fit great I'll be running only 10lbs this base unit should be able to push enough boost to crack my block. Most failures to the base units that I have seen are all because they were pushed more than what they are designed for. That goes for any part and any manufacturer if something was designed to run at a certain level why push it passed that level. If you are planning on running high boost just upgrade to the master power unit that they offer. The base on3 kit is a great bang for buck kit that will last as long as you plan on keeping it at safe boost level. There is a silver coupe running on3 twin turbos with an ls motor pushing 1000 hp on the board so anything possible.

Probably wrong on that one bud, since I got fucked by Chad and his team. Sent me a kit for a 302 instead of a 351 and would not make the deal right.

With that said, everything was ok with what they sent for the money just was not the right kit.

B & G, treadstone, ON3, CX racing (any off the shelf store bought kit)ALL have fitment issues of some sort. I have a car with a ON3 setup and it's been going for 3+ years even with the shity turbo...lol I would buy a good turbo though if I were you. You guys act like you've NEVER had to rebuild a Garret/Turbonetics/ precision/magnum. Custom built is better for sure but be ready to pay.

Sorry you got the short end of the stick bro. I had decent customer service from them guess it's just hit or miss.
