My cousin broke the driveshaft on his 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab and looking for a replacement. It's a one piece drive shaft. Hope somebody can help me out in a deal.

Or, depending on what exactly broke, you might look into getting it fixed. I know I had a driveshaft shot work on my old Bronco driveshaft and they did a great job for less than buying a replacement.
I forget the name of the place but it is in Irving. They primarily do heavy duty stuff, but had mine in and out in no time. I will see if I can locate the place.
Edit:
Inland Truck Parts & Service

Call and ask for the driveshaft shop.
Mine came back looking brand new, re-balanced, and with a warranty. This was like 3 years ago.Last edited by Chili; 06-11-2014, 03:56 PM.

I told my cousin about Driveshaft King and he had called them up. They quoted him a price of $350 for a rebuilt one and I think this is the best option. I didn't realize they cost that much, even comparing them to what it costs for my truck as well.
Edited the post as I was posting from my phone (plus I've been drinking) and what I said earlier didn't make any sense.Last edited by Jose; 06-11-2014, 09:32 PM.

Driveshaft shit has gone through the roof. Just one quick example, take a look at Mustang aluminum driveshafts. You used to be about to get a fox one new for $130ish in the late '90's, now they're $300.

Also, the dodge one piece is aluminum, IIRC."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

Didn't aluminum prices go through the roof about 6 or 7 years ago? I seem to remember an almost overnight catalyst. And of course most modern cars are utilizing a lot of aluminum to make up for all the added electronics weight. I'd really like to put an aluminum 1 piece DS in my '13, but those fuckers are like $700.
