  • 96 suburban intermittent rear left turn signal

Noticed it flash fast when left signal was activated. Got out and saw that my left rear taillight wouldn't light up when signal was on or brake applied. Thought its a bulb. Nbd. But it started working later. Now its back to doing it. Definitely not a simple bulb issue. There a common fix to this for these gmt400 gm trucks?

Probably needs a new tail light circuit board. Very common issue on 80's-90's GM trucks. You can get them at any parts house for about $20.

As stated above, the board is common. I didn't understand from you post, did you replace the bulb? If you didn't I have seen the filament make intermittent contact and a lamp work from time to time. If you didn't replace the bulb you might throw one in for shits and giggles. If you did replace the bulb, then I'd suspect the circuit board as well.

It was the circuit board. Replaced bulbs for good measure. Next is the ac low pressure switch. It will randomly blow warm air. It's rare but happens. Compressor doesn't turn. Acts like it's off. (Just had ac serviced and leak tested this past week. Good to go in that regard.

Bought the switch already just waiting to get home to replace. Plz tell me that this won't evacuate on the freon when I replace it...

it should have a shrader valve behind it so it wont leak.
