O2 sensors

I was going to fix an exhaust leak my 02 GT has had since I bought it a couple years ago. It has an offroad x and I bought a factory H pipe to put back on it. I pulled the sensors and one was cross threaded, so I went next door to get a new one and it was different in appearance to mine.

long story short, someone put the upstreams down stream and vice versa. what would this have caused as far as running. it always seemed to run a little weird but i attributed that to the exhaust leak and the computer thinking it was running lean.

Just have the car tuned and turn off the downstreams. They dont actually do anything other than for emissions.

i have them turned off already. I know they both measure oxygen content but do they measure in a different range. I would think the rears would have to read different since the by product of cats is moisture, if the rear ones are in front and measure different range what exactly is it going to cause.

Im just wondering for no reason other than to just know.

From tjhe factory all 4 are the same with the excepton of the connectors/wire lenghts.
