Changing gears 2010 fx4

Anyone have any experience with the front diff. on this thing. Would it be easier to pull the differential out of the truck to change?
I'm changing from 3.73 to 4.88's. Reason is my lift and the 37" Toyo's.

Its an 8.8 RR. Other than that, its like any other differential setup.
