  • Molases-like throttle response

    94 S10 Blazer 4.3 CPI auto 2wd etc etc....

Give it gas, and theres a 1/3-1/2 second pause before it does anything. It's a bit irritating.

What can cause this? Gummed up throttle body? Ignition issue? (god forbid) trans issue?

very possible its a spider or regulator problem, however this can of course lead to a cat problem

Other than the initial geriatric throttle response, it runs strong. Gas mileage is decent, doesn't overheat, surge while idling, or anything else. I'm hoping it's something fairly simple/cheap to fix. Cats, trans, and spiders make my wallet nervous lol.
