    You should be able to do a 6.0 with hci that makes 430-450 rwhp for under 8k. That is saying you can do the hc swap and install the harness. After its installed just take it to a driveshaft shop and they can fab you something up easliy.

    Im wanting to say there was someone that made swap motor mounts for those cars. We had a guy come in once for a tune that had an ls2 in a bmw he was saying something about a company making them.

    Just a few suggestions

      I love I6's... I love Bimmer engines...

      But there is something to be said about using OEM parts...

      As such, I would lean towards an aluminum LSx based engine/T56 swap IF you're considering a T56 behind a BMW mill. The time/headache/money you're going to have in a custom bellhousing and clutch will probably buy you an engine that will bolt straight to the trans.

      And if you smoke a clutch or, god forbid, crack a bellhousing, you can buy another one anywhere and have it within 24hrs. If you've got some one-off/few-off custom shit, you're going to spend just as much time/money having it done again
