alternative to hood pins?

Is there any safety wire or latch under the hood so that I don't have to drill my hood?

Just buy these, you have to drill a bigger hole but they work great. I have them on my car and they work great.

I have these and I like them very much. They work well. The only thing I dislike is the pull on the hood release is heavier than stock. You'll want to spend plenty of time adjusting and lining everything up so it opens and closes well.

I am about to use dzus fasteners to hold my front bumper on since I like to take it off so often. But they won't seen unless you go looking for them.

Dzus fasteners are about the cheapest way to do it, with buttons being about 1.50/ea and springs/plates being I think $1/each together. It's been a while since I bought any though.
