  • Brake line question

I have resorted to replacing my brake line on my driver side. THis is needed to relocate my bracket about 5" back ( towards the rear of the car ) to clear my coilover.

I need some info on how to do this..

Can i buy a prebent piece, can i just cut and install using the current one ?

Doubtful on anything prebent... You will need to bend your own, you can buy short sections at DECENT auto supplies, and buy a union to screw them together (will need to be the correct fitting that has flare style union) Or you can buy a longer length, use your fittings and make a new one, which is the best way, but you will need a double flare tool.

i had to replace the brake lines on my rear end, i went to ACdelco and bought some pre flared lines and just bent them myself, not that hard, and not that expensive, buy some extras so u can practice bending them first
