Stock 2006 Mustang gt 8.8 31 spline limited slip differential

Is a 2006 mustang gt slip differential the same as 03/04 cobra slip differential?
Would upgrading my 91 to a 8.8 using a 2006 gt increase the horsepower much?

Swapping differentials does not increase hp.

Yes, the '06 GT 8.8 is 31 spline. Probably with 3.31 gears.

No horsepower gained from gear change. However unicorn whiz in the diff oil does wonders.

you only gain torque when you swap the rear end
