Door Lock Stuck?

Alright, had my car tinted today and had left my doors open for about 3hrs. I went to shut them and the passenger side won't close. The door lock is showing which obstructs the door from closing. How do I fix this?

The driver side was the same way but when I opened the car from the inside the door lock went back into place so the door could close.

If I'm understanding correctly, the latch mechanism is tripped (like it would be if door was closed) hold the outside handle up, stick a screw driver into the hole that the latch forms when closed, and pull outward (as the door would when you open it). this should get you set.
