Do you notice in the rain, that water splashes easily on your engine?

I notice I get belt squeal whenever it's raining hard & the engine always has splash spots on it. I have not removed the air baffle under the engine....

The 13+ have the updated from bumper/hood. Ford put a rubber seal on the front so that the engine does not get dirty, as well as change where the hood to bumper meet on the front. I have noticed this as I just picked up a 2014 5.0 after running around in a 2012 for a while. Engine stays cleaner much longer. No dirty water or anything has come in the front, and that's driving around in the snow in Colorado for the past month.

My '12 never gets dirty under hood. I dust off the intake every now and then, but have never washed under there. The belly pan does a good job of keeping the crap out on mine.
