2010 ford f250 6.4 trans rebuilder

well after about 91000 miles, 30000 miles were with a programer set at 600hp
my tranmision took a crap. anyone know a good trans builder in the dfw area?

What programmer did you have? 30k miles set on kill is pretty good

My friend had Mikes Trick Shift do his but I haven't heard his opinion on it yet.

Hell I have a 2010 and have a Spartan tuner set on the 300 tune and been on the truck since 5k miles and I have 130k on it now and haven't rebuilt the tranny. (knock on wood)

I just bought a 08 and lifted it with tires and I'm worried about the trans

My two friends with trucks similar to mine have needed transmission work. One had a Spartan and one had a H&S both drive aggressively

How often do you change fuel filters and what kind of mileage are you getting? Isn't the 300 tune kind of violent? That's what I've been told from a few people.

I have H&S. Set on hot damn and I Am hard on it I guess u
have to pay to play I get about 18 hwy and 12 city

And I change my fuel filters every 10k

I have the Air dog II and I change those filters every 25k and I change the filter on the engine every 10k miles. And I avg about 18 mpg per tank with 36 inch tires.

O/P - I asked my friend how he is liking the trans from Mike's Trick Shift and he says it's "Badass" - He has ColdAir Full Exhaust DPF Delete and Spartan Tunes with 10" Lift and 37" Tires

Do you think the Air Dog is a valuable upgrade? I do like the extra filtration/water seperation

my 08 F350 just turned 182k. I bought it at 108k, ran the H&S300 tune until about 160k. Running Gearhead race tune for the past 20k+ miles.

Is yours an early 08? I just got a really early 08 and I saw somewhere that the early ones where better for some reason.

Any maintenance suggestions to keep one running?

some people have all the luck. but this year is starting out pretty shitty.
I was sick for 2 weeks then my first load i took this year i blew the head gasket on my 3406e cat. and had to spend 9 grand to rebuild it was down for 2.5 more weeks now this.
