  • Cummins injectors

Anyone know the best/cheapest place to buy stock injectors? I don't want remans, just not trying to drop an arm and a leg at the same time. They go on a 2007 5.9.

please post findings. Cooter also might be a good source. I know he steered me away from a cheapo supplier online and offered another source. I am just not ready to do the job yet.

there are no brand new ones anymore...

make sure you get actual BOSCH remans and don't fall for the play on words on some cheap pump shop rebuilds that call them BOSCH remans because they're "remanufactured BOSCH injectors"

ALL 5.9 CR injectors were manufactured by BOSCH, but you want the ones remanned by BOSCH

I can recommend a couple aftermarket builders that I would trust, but for OEM spec injectors, just get OEM

Try Fuel Research up in Texarkana, 903 832 7051, talk to Luke. I know he has actual Bosch remans. That's all he does is diesel fuel injection.

Yes, please recommend some if you don't mind. I have called numerous places already. I got quoted 325 a pop (cheapest quote from Abel Injection out of Lewisville) for "new" bosh injectors. I have been quoted a few times for right under 300 for some remans done by a company called "GB manufacturing." Does this sound correct Cooter? Are the new injectors actually new or does it sound like they are remans?

I'm leaning towards just replacing the one for now, since it failed electrically but may still do all 6.

they're probably calling the BOSCH factory remans "new"

$325 is about the going rate. This is not something that you want to try to save a few hundred bucks on IMO

Right. It would be nice to save some money, but definitely don't want junk or to cut corners.

Do you have a place you would recommend to buy some from?

If you have the engine serial number I purchase direct from cummins and will see what if any kind of deal I can get you.

Motor Parts Plus in Kaufman. He's found a way to stay in business after Autozone and Oriellys came in by specializing in Cummins and shipping Cummins stuff all over the world. Barry is the owner and a real good dude.
