  • 2012 F250 Wipers

The 2012 F250's wipers are not turning on, nor is the windshield wiper fluid coming out when pressed. I've checked the fuses, the motor, and searched google. What the hell is going on here? Originally I thought it was the switch in the stalk like the '99-'07 Fords, but apparently they do not have that anymore.

I called Ford, and all they would say to me is "bring it in." Multiple times I just asked if this was a common issue, or if there is an easy fix, but he just wants to "check it out" and charge me out the ass for it. So, I now turn to DFWM.

    Thanks in advance!

Oh, and it's a single cab long bed basic model 6.2l gas with the towing package.

Autozone lists a wiper switch. You have to have one it just might not be what you are used to seeing.

Half of history is hiding the past.

Looks like there are multiple fuse possibilities and a relay that could possibly affect the wiper/washers along with the switch controls, multiple ground location, etc.

Fuse F25 (30A) in Battery Junction box - main power feed into the wiper relay.

Front wiper relay - also in the Battery Junction box, power goes through the relay out to the wiper motor via the violet\white wire

Fuse F43 (10A), listed to be in the Body Control Module- this powers the coil side of the relay

Fuse F26 (5A), in Body Control Module- feeds power to the steering column control module

Fuse F24 (15A), in Body Control Module- feeds power to the steering column control module

My assumption is that the Body control module is the fuse panel under the steering column area, used to be called the GEM module.

Awesome information! Thanks for the help. I'll be checking it out in the morning.
