But with the 3.08s at 75 mph I tach at 2000 RPMS & 65 around 1800 RPMs
What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

If you don't drive it much, M/T ET Street drag radials are about the best I've tried as far as traction on the street short of the ET Street bias plies. They are no good in the rain though and they don't last very long at all.

Putting less gear in it will probably make it worse. When it spins with less gear tire speed will be more making it even harder to hook. Something is wrong if you can't make a mt radial hook on the street.

2.73's = 75mph in first with an aod, should have great traction

I average 25 mpg city & Hwy driving, Out on the Hwy I get 28 mpg and my goal is 30 mpg & 28 Hwy & City & 30+ Hwy

Kyle I beg to differ! I had a 90 Coupe with 3.27s in it & I would run low 8s on motor & spray that fucker out the hole & bust off Mid 7s like Nobodys business all day long

Switched to 4.30s thinking it would help & ran 8.0 to 7.90 on motor & on spray still ran the same time. Had to spray it after I hit 2nd gear to run 7.30s

3.27 gear to 4.30s is a large jump. Should have went with something less extreme. This has nothing to do with what I said either. I said it would make it spin worse. You don't want to try and make a car hook by trying to bog it down some. Doesn't work that well unless you just have an insane anount of gear for your setup.

No one has asked and you failed to mention how you got the boost. With a turbo I'd run 3.27-3.55 and call it a day; same with a roots blower. With a centripetal supercharger I would stick to 3.73s with a 26" or taller tire.

That isn't true at all. I've put 10,000 miles on it since last Jan. I don't own any slicks, and it has AC. Will be driven at least 500 miles a month this year.

The old school Lightnings hook. Im not surprised at the 4.56s with a Novi! Its not a Roots style blower where they make the TQ & HP out the hole
