  • Throttle cable adjustment...

Anyone know what to do or how to fix some slack in the throttle body cable? For an 04 cobra. I've google'd but haven't found anything. Phil (VaderTT) and I looked around but we were only able to adjust the cable bracket on top of the blower to help a little bit.

You should have one of those performance shops that worked on it fix it for you . They would probably use an old pack of gum and some toothpaste caps .

            Try this?
Our mustangs come with a 1-2 inch slack in the gas pedal. This is a good way to get the pedal to be more responsive and move as required without the slop that can delay a reaction and will also allow your TB blade to open completely for those "WOT occasions". Parts needed: -1-1.5 inch hose...

I can't see the pics on the link, but sounds like something I did on my old GT. I got the idea from Propellerhead. He used to have a write up on his old car-domain, let me see if I can find it, and you can see if it is the same mod.

Edit.. Man, they sure changed the car domain layout.. This is the write up, but the pics are all goofed up now.

Of course dude! I have to finish up the clutch and diff swap on the bimmer and also do an EWS alignment on an x5. Just let me know when and if you want to do it at your house or mine.

BTW, I should have a 1/2 keg for Saturday if anyone is interested.
