  • Fox Body Vacuum Lines

I have a 90 LX. I want to run the least amount of vacuum lines as possible. The car has no A/C, no smog pump, no egr. The car currently has the tree, but no other vacuum hoses at all. Can someone help me or point me in the right direction of how I need to run it all?

    Thanks,

    Scott

I go from the booster, to a tee, 1 hose down to the pcv and the other goes to the manifold. Then there the hvac stuff. But that's all you really need.

HVAC stuff? not needed if you don't have any smog stuff on it.

Line from Fuel pressure regulator to small tube on intake
Line from intake to vacuum tree on firewall
Line from vacuum tree to PCV valve
Line from vacuum tree to brake booster

All others capped off I believe if you don't have a/c, EGR, or any of that stuff.

can you pull EGR off w/o any other issues from the computer?

From wht I understand it needs a tune for it, I plan on a tune anyway as this will be a nitrous car

No, I know this because I had a broken egr vac line and it would get shitty gas mileage. Fixed the line and the mpg came back.

Will it change wot drivability? Nah

For the heater/ac unit in the car. It's not part of engine vacuum but it gets in the damn way.

What about the heater hoses? Do I just cap off where all the heater hoses would run the. Since I don't have the heater core
Would I just need upper/lower radiator hoses and bypass hose?
