  • Clipped my MAF today

With the cold morning air I seem to have clipped the MAF in my 93 Lightning at 2300Kg/hr. I did not realize this existed but apparently it's the real deal. It's even lower, like 1700 Kg/hr in EECV vehicles. Anyway, I'm excited I needed enough airflow to do this, but it really leaned out and that makes me NERVOUS. It appears that modifying airflow scaling will resolve this. Any tuners on this board gone down that road before?

No I didn't exceed the flow of the meter, HPX Slot in a 3.5" tube, but I exceeded the value for which the computer can calculate. I still have room to go before hitting the 5V mark. No Mafia is needed.

you can clip the meter before 5v if the tune is not adjusted to let it go to 5.

That's the first I've heard of a air limit on the older PCMs. It's not a hard fix to scale everything If that is actually what is happening

Made 939whp on 95 Cobra PCM no air limits

I did. Divided everything by 1.5 to get a max of 2275kg/hr at 5v.
